Bronto

About Our Name

Yes, our logo is a dinosaur in a farmer's hat. There's actually a reason for that.

Why "Bronto"?

The Brontosaurus is one of the most enduring icons in paleontology. Even though scientists went back and forth on whether it was a distinct genus (it is, as of 2015), the name never left public consciousness. It endured.

That's what we're building: storage that endures. Data that persists through time, maintaining its complete history. Just as fossils preserve the record of prehistoric life, BrontoFarm preserves the record of your data.

Plus, it's memorable. You probably won't forget the company with the dinosaur logo.

Why "Farm"?

Farming is about cultivation. About patient growth. About nurturing something valuable over time.

Your data is a crop that grows continuously. Every file saved, every database transaction, every document edited adds to the harvest. Traditional storage throws away the growth - it only keeps the latest state. BrontoFarm cultivates and preserves the entire history.

The farmer's hat on our Bronto represents this: the patient, methodical care of data cultivation.

The Mascot

Our mascot is deliberately friendly and approachable. Enterprise storage is often intimidating - complex architecture diagrams, impenetrable jargon, serious-faced executives in stock photos.

We wanted something different. Something that says: this is powerful technology, but it doesn't have to be complicated. Something that's memorable in a sea of generic tech branding.

The yellow color comes from amber - fitting for a company focused on preservation (think prehistoric insects preserved in amber). And yes, we know amber is more orange than yellow. Creative license.

Bronto Facts

Thunder Lizard

"Brontosaurus" means "thunder lizard" in Greek. We like to think our storage makes an impact too.

150 Million Years

Brontosaurus lived during the Late Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago. Now that's data retention.

Gentle Giant

Brontosaurus was a herbivore - large and powerful, but not aggressive. Just like good infrastructure.
